You are better off switching to a shock that is mounted directly to the axle. Better control, helps to fight torque twist, and cuts down on the unreal articulation you can get out of cantis. I have run everything from Maxx shocks, to savages, and 2 different flavors of the MGT shock. Personally I prefer the MGT shocks. Longer than a Maxx, bigger diameter, and seem to hold up to a beating better. If you go MGT put a Gold spring on the passenger side rear to fight off torque twist. With Maxx shocks go with stock red or losi yellow springs. If you wanna go savages, be prepared to make some custom mounts so that they will work right.

Integy MSR4 shocks are also very good; ~4", alum, pivot balls at each end.

I hate to say it, but "Use the search feature" Look for Savage in the TXT forum, also search for Roctapus. There is a ton of info and pics on this site. The Search button is you friend, get to know him, learn to love him.
