the wraith is a huge money pit. the honcho wont be as expensive when you go all out with upgrades

The SCX-10 is a good crawler and gives you a lot of scale body options. The Wraith can be built fast for bashing on the trails or slow for crawling. Either one is a lot of fun so you can't go wrong. The way this hobby works, you will end up with both anyway. ![]() |

I think starting with a honcho and adding wraith axles and 2.2's sounds like a lot of fun. Maybe even brushless.

This all sounds very familiar to me. Started out with a Dingo 4 months ago, bought an AX10 2 monts ago and just ordered a Wraith chassis last week. Wouldn't surprise me if the wraith axles will follow ;)

Or get em both and swap axles. Probably would've been cheaper if I did that in the first place

I've got a Wraith and ordered an SCX10 which i'm waiting to be delivered. They can be money pits if you want them to be. Most upgrades come about due to how the cars are treated. My buddy has spent $500 and i have spent $50. I am really looking forward to the SCX10 as i love the scale look. I bought them primarily for mud bashing so both cars will do that just fine. Hence it's really a cosmetic decision. |

I got a Honcho and I love it. Not loving how much it costs to upgrade but hey better that than fast food. ;) hehe I am thinking of going Wroncho with it. But, i wouldnt mind having a second RC to let my bro use when we go hiking. |
