| has anybody tried this with a tamiya max climber and will it make a tlt competition ready and 1 more thing is this a good kit or should i go anither route with a sw2 or something |

| It's a fine conversion for bashing and trail running. But it uses the stock transmission, which is a potential weak point for a competition rig. |

| It would probably be cheaper in the long run to get a tlt with a vendors chassis and a stealth tranny(I got mine for $25 off of ebay) |

| ive seen those conversion kits on ebay before. doesnt look like anything you couldnt make for less. go to home depot and get some thick sheet metal and some aluminum rod and go to work. could cut the sideplates out if you have a coping saw w/ a metal cutting blade. dont be afraid to try making stuff from scratch. most of the guys here have homemade chassis |
