Default newbie to crawling!

I am not new to rc, however I am new to the crawler scene. My question is this. I bought an Axial Wraith and want to know if a xp sc450-bl Esc with a reedy 3300kv would be a good system to throw in my wraith? I have already upgraded the Tranny, pinion, and spur, slipper to robinson racing stuff. upgraded servo to hitec 7955, vanquish tierod and links. I have the link to turn dwn power if needed. But dont really want to. I have also lowered the crawler so the cog is better ie shock kit. Would this system work?

That will work for speed if that's what you're looking for, but for precise low speed control you'll need a sensored brushless esc and lower kv crawler motor.Ideal would be a 3s lipo system so you get a little more wheelspeed with the low kv motor.

Thanks TNT1. Ive decided to go with a MM PRO w/ a Tekin 17.5 motor. I guess sensored motor is the way to go. Thanks again.
