I personally feel that a bruiser is far too fragile to make a hardcore crawler. Way too valuable, even though some here would not agree. In crawling, you can expect Alot of flips, rollovers, crashes and drops. You have to ask yourself if you are prepared to possibly do major damage to something that may cost you a large wad of cash to replace.

I would suggest something a little on the cheaper side. A Clod or TLT. Both have many, many parts to choose from. And strangly enough, the plastic of these trucks would take a little more abuse than the somewhat brittle aluminum of a nearly 30 year old Bruiser.

This is my 2 cents. Not Brusier bashing, Iwould just be a little reluctant to do a Brusier as a crawler. A trail rider maybe, But a full out and out Crawler, I couldn't do it. As for 1st, 2nd, or 300th crawler, makes no difference. We all start somewhere. Age or skills either.

If you have the cash it can be made to be pretty capable, Its just not going to be cheap. its all in the build. If you need help, send me a PM, I am still working on making my Trekker Bruiser better and better for crawling while keeping it as scale as possible
