is the rebel 2 toasted?? that would really suck if it was, but on the other hand if you were able to come up with a super rooster that would work better for you . oh also, the whole tire broke off the scale chev today

My vote would be for the Super Rooster. I've run the Rebel 2, SR, and Super Duty and never had an issue with either Novak ESC.

I still and allways will say the evx is the best esc's I have ever use, when I come across one when I have some extra cash it will go in my super class truck.

Taking a pole, huh? That's gotta hurt
Sorry, I had to say it :-P

There are a lot of good options out there, it really comes down to what features you want. Can it handle the amount of cells you want to run? Is the BEC up to your needs, or will you be running an RX pack? Is the reverse function how you like it (double-pump, delay, or speed sensitive)? Do you want it water-proof? Maybe you want to run a brushless setup. You've got a lot of choices, and everyone has thier favorite.

The Tekin Rebel 2 is a strong contender. Even the budget-priced Moped has been well received by the crawling community.

On a budget, MOPED is the way to go.

Without a doubt. You can not go wrong with this combo. Lighter weight, less space required to mount esc, axle snapping torque, programable
esc profiles, and only slightly more expensive than a brushed setup.
