new vaterra twin hammers

just got it and am WAY too anxious to drive. want to know if the lipo 2 cell 2000mAh battery. want to know if it will effect the batteries life by using it without fully charging it first?

You wont run it for long. Its always best to fully charge it 1st..... The only charge it has is a storage charge, and thats just enough charge to keep it from dieing.....

no. LiPo batteries have no memory like NiMH packs do. The initial full charge is always good tho....

I've stripped out a couple stock hexes myself, brushless power and plastic hexes are not a good combo in any RC. Upgrade to aluminum hexes and fix the problem for good.

i am still running the stock setup at the moment just to see what the quirks are. I am thinking of trying a sidewinder 3 esc and a castle 5700 kv just to see if it can handle it.

I have had my TH do this to me as well but as i am a newbie i am not sure what type of aluminium hexes (brands) would suit
