I called traxxas today and asked if they would sell whole trannys. They said if there was enought call for it they might. so every start calling and maybe we can get whole trannys. The tollfree # 1-888-traxxas

Tammie's Hobbies sells complete Pede trannies, with bearings, spur adapter, and aluminum idler gear.

All for $50, which I can guarantee is cheaper than Traxxas will want for one.

but the ones from tammie's have bearings, not bushings. I'd say bearings are worth $5. :-P

I believe i did the math once and you can make your own from parts for less than 50 with bearings

You should post your findings because I believe there have been a couple of posts here proving just the opposite.

I always crack up when someone pulls out this list

there are over 35.00 in parts that are either duplicate of another item or not part of the trans.....like the shafts and yokes......12 grub screws? in the tranny?

or 2 slipper setups (spring and 4mm nut) and I dont believe anyone here sells the trans with a dust cover either...........and 4 spur gears? or even 1 pinion?

and not even 1 of the 10 4 mm locking nuts is used.

and 12 3mm screws to hold it together??????????? I count 7

the list is pretty bogus

50.00 is a god fair price for a new pede tranny as tammies sells

and 45.00 with bushing is fair also

or if anyone would read my sig i just sold my stock rolling pede for 20$
