Cool 1.9 to 2.2

OK so I've read guys streaching their 1.9 tires onto 2.2 wheels , my question is I have a rc10 t3, and no blue groove track nearby, or any track for that matter, so for bashing on quad trails and such, can I streach some 1.9 swamper on or will they not work

If they are the glue on wheels just stretch the tires on. It's pretty straight forward. Though, I prefer to stick a 2.2 on 2.2 rims.
