| Adding a cooling fan to esc
Hi.New to rc.Well I want to know how to install a cooling fan on my AE-2 which does'nt have a dedicated lead for a cooling fan.Should it be a parallel connection to the lipo or any other means?

| It shouldn't need one, i abuse mine with a 11t puller on 3s without heat problems. A castle 10amp bec will drop temps up to 10degresd

Well If I do want to add a cooling fant to AE-2 how do I add one?Directly to the battery or through esc ?If through ESC how and where?I am all new to rc world.All help will be appreciated.

No don't power it straight from the battery. You can fry it. I did. Power it from the reciver. Unless your esc is designed for a plug for a fan.

How to power the fan depends on the fan's intended voltage. A 12V fan can be run off the battery (2S or 3S) while a 6V fan is better plugged into the Rx. |
