Default Locking the center diff (got a question).

I just finished locking the rear diff on my TLT (first crawler ever) and now I want to do the center diff, dunno what kind of genius over at Tamiya decided to make this little monster truck have 3 diffs in the first place, anyway, I was thinking about using hot glue, will it work? I'd leave the diff's balls in there and just hot glue the crap out of it.

the best way i found was to take out the diff balls, then take the two plastic plates that hold the diff balls in place and notch them 180 degrees apart so that you can put 2, 3mm screws through the plastic plates and throught the holes in the diff.ill try to find a pic

Hmmm, but I would have to drill two holes into each of the plastic pieces right? if so, I'm trying to avoid doing any permanent modifications as much as possible, but if it's the best way then I'll give it a shot, I'd love to see a pic.

This works for a while but will eventually begin to slip. If you are going to use the original tranny, order a gear diff for a TA04 and epoxy it. It will drop into the place of the ball diff.
