Default Looking for shocks and springs

Hey guys I have been doing a lot of searching on here but still can't really find the best route to go. I have almost finished my TLT build except for shocks and springs. I actually bought the truck half way finished and it currently has TC3 touring car shocks with rally shafts and green springs were on there when I bought it. I get 0 flex out of these things unless I actually push down on the chasis with my hands. I would like to know what would be the general concensus on what would be the best shock, spring and oil weight to start out with. I know that I will more than likely have to change a few things depending on my driving style, truck, and terreain but I guess what I am asking what would be a good starting block and where could I get them. Thanks for all the help guys. I can post up some pics of my truck tonight if that would be of any help. I have pics of it when I bought it but I have changed a lot since then. Thanks

I'm using these:
Duratrax Evader ST Rear Shocks: $15.49/pair
and these:
Duratrax Extra Soft Springs: $3.59/pair
They're about 4" long and have worked very well. Losi springs also fit.

Or you could mount your TC3 shocks to the links. Mount the bottom of the shock to the link about 1/3 of the way out from the chassis you'll double your travel and cut the damping in half.

You will find out that everyone is almost running something different. You will see shocks from Savages, Maxx, Cen Genesis, and loads of others. You need to take your shocks off and measure what size you need.
