Hey guys just need some opinions. I just completed my first ever RC crawler build. I love it and so do my two sons 7 and 5 years old. I was thinking of maybe buying them a stock TLT for each of them to learn with. I don't mind them playing with mine but both of them want to play at the same time. I figured the TLT crawlers would be OK as a starting block and we can build them up as they become more experienced. What would you guys suggest? I love my kids very much but I just feel like they are a little to carless to be playing with $600 crawlers before they really know what they are doing. Thanks for the advice.

there are several threads of peoples stock builds, they can be done rather cheaply and for a young kid they would work fine.

yah the kids will love them but will always be asking when they get to mod them like yours is, it is great to get the kids in the hobby so i would say yes.

yeah, i think theyd be perfect. i just finished my first crawler which is tlt based and i drove it around for awhile bone stock. definatly lock all the diffs. heres a great how to on locking the center diff, thats how i did mine and its nice and easy and works good. you should do the center during the build, its a pain to go and do after! i forget the site but its on here somewhere you can pick up rock busters for 69 a piece shipped

www.ultimatehobbies.com Remember, that $69 does not include radio, servo, batteries, etc. Just the kit for the truck.
