Default Mounting Shocks?

I have seen a few different idea. Like using fuel tubing through the end that doesn't have a ball end. I am still searching for a shock that has ball ends on both ends. Can anyone help with this, or give me some more examples of mounting shocks. thanks

I have been looking at some integy shocks and when i look at the different springs you can put on them, the BLUE is listed as the softest. AS in this page... http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXKTH4&P=7 And then other places I read that the BLUE integy is stiffer then the stock maxx springs. Like here http://cgi.ebay.com/iNTEGY-Blue-Spri...QQcmdZViewItem Does anyone know if this true or am I possibly looking at 2 different things?

So I guess I will stay away from those for now then. thanks for the info.

Now after looking at some of the shocks I see that the maxx shocks don't have ball ends on both ends. Am I right on this? I have seen fuel line put though the end that doesn't have the ball end and then slipped onto I bolt or a stud. I s there other ways of mounting them or other shocks that work better?

I've used the brass spacers from the servos to mount them before. but it does
leave some slop. i'm sure that there are other people on here that have better
ideas, just my 2 cents. the fuel tubing probably works better, but you use
what you've got.

The Revo shocks have ball ends on both ends, but they are only 3.5"
long and the springs are really stiff. I used the Traxxas stock plastic Tmaxx shocks and I just drilled the cap out to accept a ball end.
