Default Shock Question

I have tried mounting my shocks but they are rubbing the chassis so when tight they are solid should I be putting more spacing on them so they are are free floating or does it not matter any input would be appreciated

I'd space the upper shock mounts away from the frame. Use fuel line in the upper mount too, if possible.

Like so....

Thanks Bender its a diaz frame so its got a channel in the mounting area this will mean when the spacers are wider that the top of the shocks will be wider than the axle mountings making the shocks lean out slightly will this affect articulation \ / like so but not as prominant .....

The chassis I have is a DT-1
