Default Wheel weights

What do you use to weight your wheels down, and where do you get it?

What works best, and what doesn't work as good.

I get spools of 3/16" solid lead from the fishing section at Walmart and wrap it around the center of the wheels and give it two wraps of electrical tape to make sure it stays put.

You can use regular stick on balancing weights for 1:1 cars. Cheapest solution. How much depends on what rig you have, weight of it, weight bias, foam and tires and how you drive. There's no correct answer to this. You'll have to try for yourself. I run 70-170 grams of lead in each front in my cars, nothing in the rear. Some prefer a lot more front and some in the rear.

I use both fishing weight and stick on weights from the tire shop.

Im using stick on wheel weights but slowly removing most of it and putting the weight in better places....you can 3.5oz of weight on the axial 1.9 wheel using 1/4 oz weights.
