Personally, I think it would make a great 1/6 scale crawler. It wouldn't be a great competition crawler, but a fun crawler...hells yes. | ||

looks wise it would make a nice crawler, dimension wise and the fact that the walmart crawler is about $100 and 20#'s makes it an unwise body to use to build a crawler. What I was hoping for was maybe someone knew of a company making a lexan version. Ive already checked the usual companies but I know there are some small places out there.

Here is Slugzracing's 1/6 scale Ford Ranger "Shelly". It started life as a 1/6 scale Walmart r/c, Slugz said he love's crawling with it, everytime we get together Shelly gets alot of time on the rocks. It has an EMaxx tranny and TXT axles. My point is you could do the same thing with the Gladiator and have a very cool, fun crawler. I almost bought a Gladiator but my wife found me something else in 1/6 scale at Target for a Christmas present. Jetboat, to answer your question; I have never seen or heard of a Gladiator made of lexan either. |

Isn't that a KB Toys Ranger?Other than the source, you're right.Find what you like, then build around it.It's all about what the builder likes, not others. |
