Default motor runs backwards

I just installed a new radio and ESC in my wrath and also a new motor. My issue is that my throttle ( finger ) control is backwards . Push is forward pull is backwards . Do I just switch the motor wires around ?

The details on the radio, esc, motor and how the motor is timed would be really useful to help answer your question.

If you have a Futaba radio you need to make sure the throttle is set to REV for a lot of ESCs.

If the motor has 0 degree timing and if it is a brushed motor then you can just swap the wires.

You need to recalibrate the esc to the radio. The mfg should have that info on their website or in the instruction manual.

Also, make sure the motor is wired properly.
