What paint color is this?

So I would like to build my scx10 to be like my 1984 Blazer which is the same color as this:
But I can't seem to find a paint color that matches this. Any idea where one is or do I mix colors? As this is my first question here, also gonna say hey and all help is appreciated.

Is there an RC body paint in the tan color though? I looked through Tamiyas paint colors and didn't see one that matched

probably not....at least in a rattle can. The best you can do is try to match it with an air brush paint and air-brush it on. Good luck with the paint cans...Pactra quit making paint and Tamiya paints are all that's leftr for lexan bodies.

Are you able to find out who the truck in the picture belongs to? I'm sure they would be able to tell you what they used.

They have been around for pretty much the whole rc rodeo.

tamiya does not appear to make a tan polycarb paint in a rattle can either

your only chance might be to check the airbrush paint makers of lexan paint.

That was just in regards to Tamiya being the only one making lexan paint.
Odds are you'll have to custom mix something and airbrush it.

i meant rattle cans....you can customize almost any color for airbrush...who else makes spray can paints for lexan ?????

Go to a local paint supplier for body shops. They can color match and put it in a rattle can for you. Just take the vin number off your blazer.

I doubt most auto painters have paint for polycarbonate(lexan.)

He needs a match that will spray on the inside of a lexan body.

Airbrush mix IMO is the only way to go.

I had heard they were going to start doing paints in cans....wasn't aware they had already started....that's a BIG since I don't own an airbrush.

that "mellow yellow" might be a close match to what the OP was looking for

It's called buck skin at least in 77' . That's what color my daily is .
