| Re: Whats a good motor for a wraith Not if you want it faster, you need to run 3s or change the motor. A 27 turn motor is only gonna go so fast, a Wraith comes with a 20t in RTR form. Another option would be to replace the motor / esc for more apropriate brushless system.

Try the stock 20t with 20/87 for pinion and spur, run it on 2s. This setup works great for me, but each to his own.

First thing you should do is read this thread if you haven't read it yet: Choosing a motor and ESC for your Wraith - Gearing Added! If a brushed 27T isn't fast enough for you, you should switch to a sensored brushless system. A Castle MMP and a Tekin ROC 412 3100Kv is a good combo in the Wraith. You do need to have some money set aside to upgrade the transmission and drive shafts as this combo can be a part breaker. |

The traxxas system will be fine for top end speed, but will cog like crazy when crawling because it isn't a sensored system Cheers Wade |

Holmes Hobbies 13t $35.99 on 2s is a lil faster than stock with tons more torque but on 3s it's a really good setup! Bec is needed if ya don't have one, the Ae-2 esc is very good actually.

There is a Torque Master Sport 13T, it is for Twin Hammers only. It will not work in a Wraith. | |

| Re: Whats a good motor for a wraith Actually there is a torque master sport 13t that will work in the wraith! Crawlmaster sport will have better startup & low end but I like the torque master in wraiths...I have both motors.
