Default Just got a Wraith.

This is my first Axial product and i'm very impressed with it. Also my first crawler besides a 1/6th Nylint crawler i have. Already did the hood mod (not pictured) so i can move the battery to the front next.

It will crawl a lot better once that weight is moved up front. Great pics

Next minor mods you'll definitely want to do is to pull the transmission apart to loc-tite the three 2mm bolts holding the output shafts together. Otherwise, I guarantee they will loosen up at an inconvenient moment and likely take out the trans gears. I think every RTR axial suffers this issue.

Find some 3x12mm button head machine thread bolts to replace the stock self tapper kingpin boltsthat also like to loosen up and fall apart, taking out either a knuckle, C-hub, or both depending on your luck.

Other than that, just torque-check the wheel nuts every single run, and occasionally torque check the drive-shaft pins, kingpin bolts, and c-hub/lock out bolts and you'll be rewarded with a truck that holds together rather well.

If your hard on equipment you'll be back here within a week asking about a replacement servo. lol.

Thanks for the info.

What brand spur gears fit the axial vehicles? Looking to get a couple different ones to play with gearing.
