Default Disappointed in the yeti

Hi, all been lurking a few weeks ,I get my new yeti in and can't get to run . I have done all the pre-flight , calibrated the esc and all I get is a little jerking when the throttle is pulled nothing in reverse. Any ideas as to what mite be my problem.

You have to rebind the reciever and also check your end points

Check your bullet connectors from the motor to esc and make sure they are secure.

I was checking out a new RTR Yeti at my LHS

and when I rolled it fore and aft on the counter

the transmission made an odd hollow meshing sound
as it was rotated Fr/Rr...

Is that normal ?

Well one of the preflight checks is to check the spur/pinion mesh - with 48p gears it should be pretty smooth. Also note an incidence of a missing bearing in the transmission and loose driveshaft pins. Sadly these things seem to need a lot of checking over - hopefully early QC issues !

My Yeti came with 32p spur/pinion. So did my friend's.

Probably the 8 year old Chinese kid who soldered it had a bad day. Did not earn his $2 that day.

Why would someone making management scale be soldering?
