Fried steering trying to install some LEDs

First post here, so I tried to install some led lights (dingo) and burnt something out. No steering now damn it, and the three coloured lights are blinking/beeping. Throttle works. I tried reading up on connections and quizzed shop said they were plug n play-no led control required - PO'd now, ? What's fried steering controller I guess? Or Esc? Rc? I have 2.4 tx 2s lipo cheers for advice

How did you hook them up? Have you tried unhooking them to see if the steering comes back?

I plugged in the leds pigtail ahead(thicker wires)of the Ubec buzzer. So after smelling "the smell" unplugged and replaced original connections and now NO steering OR throttle and the little green,yellow,red lights on the castle are steady blinking and beeping.
I wouldn't be disappointed had I broke something on the trail but on the bench %*&$ sux
