| Just got the Yeti RTR
Hello, I just got the Yeti the other day. I was at Ray and Robins the other day. Wanted to get a new RC wasn't sure witch one to get then a member of this forum suggested the Yeti. Can't remember what he said his handle on the site was though. Just wanted to say thanks to him. I have been having a blast with it. Hopefully we can get out on the trails sometime. Hello to everyone else on the forum. |

Well so much for the yeti being awesome. Went to run it today for the 3rd time and nothing. No power at all tried a different pack still nothing. Looked through the forums and noticed other having this problem with the esc. Emailed axial when I got home gonna call them tomorrow. Got a question though other people who had the problem with the esc said they were noticing cogging problems with it and I didn't have that problem at all. Just went to run it and nothing but it was running great before this problem. Also people were saying there was a problem with the hubs. I started looking at mine and noticed alot of wobble on the passenger side front end is this something I should bring up to them when I call? Thanks for any help |

Try tightening the screws and nuts first. | |

No power to anything. No steering no throttle not even a beep.at startup. And its wobbling at the hinge pin. Like the pin is to small for the hole.

I noticed the switch sometimes not work, press the switch sideways to force the contact. I run in a lot of water and some mud. Maybe the switch isn't that waterproof. |

So I checked voltage going into the esc it's 8.37vdc the voltage at the switch is -7.32vdc no matter which way I move the switch? I figured out why the wheel wobbles there is no upper king pin. Not sure if it happened while I was driving it or it came that way.

Check the continuity of the switch (when on and off) or try to short circuit the switch to make sure the problem is there. I'll look for a waterproof switch for the yeti soon... |

So I just got the phone call. My new esc is in. They said they replaced it with a brand new one don't know what happened to the old one but I'm guessing it wasn't just the switch since they replaced the whole unit. I'm happy though hated waiting for it though.
