there for #2 i would asume just looking at the picture #2 is some kinda scale hub so most likely the oring is there to help keep the hub in place somehow im just taking a guess but it sounds good to me lol |

Yeah, I'm with Ferp. Assuming there's no nylon thread locker in those hubs, they need something to dampen vibrations and stop the hub from shaking loose. That's probably what those rubber rings are for. If you're using those scale hubs as the nut to hold your wheels on, the rubber ring should go between the wheel face and the hub. |

Thanks for your replies guys, that's really helpful. That is what I was thinking but they came with no assembly instructions so I wasn't sure. Much appreciated!

Not sure if I'd trust an o-ring to hold my wheel on. I'd keep an eye on your wheels the first few times that you use them. I hate loosing hubs/ wheel nuts so I usually keep a couple in my pocket so that I don't wind up carrying my rig all the way back to wherever I have my tool/ parts box. Nylon-locking nut or thread-locker FTW.
