I'm at a cross roads. I would like to have a good 1.9 rock cawler that looks very scale. But I'm not sure if I want to build a 1.9 wraith or buy the jeep wrangler G6. I'm aware of the work that needs to be done for both. I'm just curious as to the pro's and con's to each from someone elses point of view and experience. Thanks for any help.

I know that my G6 that only had minor strength upgrades and a good set of wheels and tires was a great runner! I don't know if you comp or not, but most of the time the wraith based 1.9 rigs are still considered class 3. Just throwing that out there. Either way you go, I am sure that you will be happy. I have seen a few early Bronco bodied 1.9 wraiths that look sick!

| ![]() I just put them on. I haven't had a chance to try them. Broke motor brushes last night and found out my servo is no longer working so got those ordered and should be running later this week. From installing them they make they cage alot more rigid though.

sounds like your having the same electronics issues I am. I killed a servo and motor this last sunday, well depending on how the testing goes for the jcad rails I will be purchasing a set.

One other factor to consider is ease of wrenching. Wraiths are a bit of a pain to work on due to the design of the cage and all of the screws that you need to unscrew anytime you want to get inside. SCX-10s are much easier to tinker with. Both my 2.2 Wraith and my G6 are flat out beasts. If I could have only one, though, it would be the G6, and that's one of the reasons.

Not sure what you went with or if you have any updates, but I just put together a 1.9 wraith, and I love it.
