Awsome rigs on here, my start was just awhile ago with the YETI, I love the look and it seems like a good all around rig to go with. I like learning with this one.

2004). HPI savages (.21, 2 Xs), then a HPI hellfire....... 2006). a trainer airplane...... 2014). then a merv, after that an HPI 5sc, and now a BMRC IFS/IRS wraith, powered my tekin, and holmshobbies.

9 years old in 1981 with my Tamiya Grasshopper then

Long time off

Then in 2005 saw a wicked YouTube video of a yellow Toyota scaler with sweet Pink Floyd soundtrack

Tlt's with junfac chassis through TCS got me back into RC

After a few years of being obsessed with go fast and jumpin to the moon type bashing, I put together a Scx-10 Jeep Rubican Unlimited kit and was hooked from there! Now i have a Yeti kit, Wraith Spawn, Summit and a custom hybrid 2.2 build i custom made with IFS, wraith axle, summit trans, brushless power (before the yeti was a thought)

Well, ill be honest my 1st rig was in the 80's and it was something from radioshack cant remember the name but it was a 4x4 truck & i think it only came in yellow and blue. It was a piece but still my 1st. My 1st hobby grade rc was a traxxas nitro 4tec in i think the late late 90's and my 1st crawler was a ax10 scorpion in 05 or 06. i now own 3 moa's, 2 shaftys, and am building another.

My first was this 4x4 truck from Radio Shack back in the 80's

In the 90's I got one of these but never got it running

the truck on the top is not quite as fancy as the axial scx-10 in the bottom,,,
I like the scx-10 alot,, PS, great looking scx-10 jeff-22

Yeah it is the stock scx10 rtr trail honcho. I just took the stickers off the doors and hood.

If anyone wanna know where I started with... Well here it is :

I started with a HPI Crawler King.

Then a SCX10 (cr edition) and heavily modified.

After that I got a Exo Terra buggy.

And now a custom build crawler (about 1000 dollars in total)

This is where I started, with hobby grade anyway:

There was a stream of 2WD buggies and 4WD sedans after that with a couple of foolhardy forays into nitro. There was a bit of a lull during the time my wife was in med school and I sold everything off so we could eat and then I got back in with my first crawler/scaler in the form of a RTR Honcho, currently part way through a complete rebuild. Looks like this right now:

I had neck surgery and was laid up for a few months... I picked up a micro, then a mini and then a scx10/Mellons and then Hera and ten the 34 Ford and then an 8x8 and then and then and then and then traveled all around the country to play with toy trucks!

Mine was thus little gem. Walmart maisto rock crawler modified to use a 2s Lipo.

Then I moved up to an Scx10 deadbolt.
Very addicting hobby.

I am right behind you. Bought 2 Maisto Rock Crawlers for my kids. I am playing with them more than they are. Now I am looking at a scale rig. Many on my list (SCX10, TF2, Sawback, Ascender) just need to narrow it to one.

First "hobby grade" RC was an Aristo-Craft Kangaroo (I've been doing this for a little while). First crawler was Cliff Climber. Have about 40 others to go with them. Never have been a fan of selling any of this stuff.

Marui Big Bear. hand me down from my brother (didn't run). after i got the parts and got it running again i was hooked. Still have it and my Sand Scorcher first one i ever bought (used)
