I kinda wanna know where you guys started? Was it an scx10, ax10, crawler king, vaterra..., losi,....

Wheely King, Losi Comp Crawler, XR-10, Burg, and back to a XR-10.

AX10 Scorpion KIT was my first, Losi Comp Crawler was second but didnt keep it long, Then bought a AX10 RTR, Got more into Scalers and had Bookoos of various SCX10s (Still have 2), then tried a Wraith and just wasnt my cup of tea, and now the current fleet is: Deadbolt (Girlfriend's), My custom Chevy SCX10, Twin Hammers and a Toyota Truggy on a custom solid tube chassis with Wraith Skid.

So far all I have is my SCX10. Although I really want to build my own. Either a Wraith or a Yeti.

I started out with an AX10 Scorpion way back in the day. I have since been running SCX10's and a Trailfinder 2 in there.

Wow,let's see for me it all started a while back with the Tamiya tlt, then came 2 hi-lift, next came a scx10, then a tf2 and most recently a gelande 2. I've sold quite a few and kept pars of some, the only one o don't have any parts left for is the SCX.

I must say it was a great rig but I love the scale side more so than crawler side so the others fit me better.

My first hobby grade rc was the Tamiya lunchbox back when it was a new release ! I've had several since then but my first crawler was a redcat rs10 that has been highly modded and now a trail stomper scaler.

TLT with stampede tranny, clodbuster, then AX10. Never put a single one together as a stock kit, just harvested axles

Associated t4 stadium truck them a b4 then the tracks closed so exc ruckus. Then me and my son saw a scale crawler at the park we went straight to home and ordered a deadbolt scx10 for me and maxstone 16 for my son.

I prob should have been more specific as well. The tlt axles were and still are great for making scale rigs. I don't think I ever ran a stock one myself other than a hi lift. You can't beat the narrow width vs the newer SCX and similar style axles. I just wish there was as much vendor support for them as their used to be. newer and more exciting axles will always come and go but tlts will never die.......

My first was an RS10. I modded that until the only thing left of it were the two axles...and I modded the axles until they were about unrecognizable. Next up was a Tamiya CC01 Bronco then an AX10 I turned into a moonshine running 56 Ford sedan then an XR10 that I built 3 different chassis for then cannibalized for yet another AX10 that I made into some sort of buggy thing.

Sell the HPI? I dunno about selling things. Nobody ever wants to buy my shit

I say modify it into whatever you want. It's really about the axles. If you like them build anything you want around them.

me.. started out with a Tamiya XV-01 (rally), got bored then sold it.. now owning a SCX10 Rubicon C/R Edition - RTR (don't want to bother with building from scratch).. moded a little here and there, just for the fun of it.. I would never go into competition coz my time and wallet are not that deep

My first was a venom creeper whos weak parts and lack of aftermarket prompted me to buy a gmade r1 which is one of my favorite to date. Although everything else i own is axial now for same two reasons.
