Default Winch Wiring

I am using an old 645MG to create a winch. The circuit board is fried, but the motor still operates fine. I would like to run the servo off the main battery, if possible. I'm looking for a switch to reverse the polarity so I can spool the line out, as well as reel it in. Will this switch work?

I will most likely be using a cheap plastic gear servo to throw the switch, to operate the winch. I guess I could also use a small ESC. Will ESCs work with the non-proportional switches for the 3rd channel? Any reccomendations on a small (cheap) ESC that will work in this application?

I would get the black one.Its a momentary 6 prong switch. That way it's not locked into one direction.Just tap it in either direction and it will run.Hope that helped!?

Thanks for the response! Is this the switch you are referring to?

The third channel on my radio (TQ3) has no EPAs. Do you think the throw of a standard servo is pretty close to the throw needed to activate the switch?
