Joely, try looking around through the scale section and reading up on the posts. There is ALOT of information there. Also read the stickies in the scale forum and TLT forum. That should start you on the right path.

Make a list of what you want/need

Motor - Lathe or brushless
Esc - Whatever you want
Chassis - you know
Axles - you have
Wheels/tires - matter or opinion/Performance
Body - Hardbody or Lexan
Tranny - Pede, Stealth, R2 - depends on cash and preference

That would be a good start.

Welcome to the board, read as much as you can, there is alot of info and some amazing rigs.

ESC.. will a LRP AI runner do the job? motor... 55T lathe? body... still looking for a good one, realy want a briuser front end but cant find one that i can afford!

i been floating around for a while.... i've seen alot of sweet rigs... some that i'd love to own!

Just thought that read funny.

For a stock look; Geolanders are your best bet. As far as wheels go- I have seen alot of people using the stock TLT's. Other than that- any 2.2 wheel will work for whatever look you are going for.

For the trans; I would realy recc. the R2 from RC4WD- it is very compact; and looks alot cleaner than the pede or stealth.

Keep trolling da'Bay for a bruiser cab- they can be found at a decent price; but be willing to do some repairs (strip paint, get new grill, repolish "glass")

good luck- like someone said; read every post in the scale forum, some of those guys really know thier siht.
