Default Axial Night Vision System

When using Axial Night Vision System , ow whatever other brand you prefer , that does turn signals & brake lights etc ,..on a rtr ,...do you have to have a BEC ? Will it draw too much? I think its 100 milliamp , I dont know how much the simple controller that comes in the honcho draws,..

Resistors are all integrated into the NVS module to break down voltage to LEDs.
they shoukdnt take much draw from the battery. Especially in a crawler whereas you
get a good 1hr runtime to begin with.

ok I was thinking more of , will it be taking enough power away from something else & cause issues ,..like when the steering servo is under load or something ,...

Standard power LEDs really don't take a lot of power to run. This thread has lots of good information on LED lighting and will answer you question: How to wire LEDs

If you haven't already bought a lighting controller, I would check out HeyOk's.
I have had really good results using his controllers in my rigs.

Ok thanks ,..I have the rtr honcho , I know everyone said to get the cc bec ,..I just havent got around to it yet ,..Everyone said I will want to upgrade the servo & therefore need a bec ,..but it came with the new Tactic servo & has not been lacking for me so far ,..I have done some upgrades , but havent run into any reason to really have to have the bec yet , so I have been being lazy about it , I have been playing with the idea of lights & figure a new controller cant take that much more than the simple controller allready included with the rtr
