| Which would I be happier with?
Well I have a set of TLT axles in the mail, sooo my question is..would I be happier w/ a comp rig or a scaler? I'm leaning towards scaler but i really wanted a torsion stick. The part that sucks about it all is if I don't do a torsion set-up I will need links and shocks. Sooo that =more money which I don't have. Let me know what you guys would do if it was up to you. thanks for any and all help! |

One more vote for semi-scale. The semi scale rigs can crawl very well. Once you get into more scale items and designs, performance slowly drops. Not that leaf springs and chassis mounted servo can't do well, just not as well as links and axle mounted servo. Many of the semi-scale rigs could easily be modified to compete, so long as the wheelbase was right.
