im going to get rid of the chassis and the 4 link that is on it already and im building a chassis out of dimond plate alum. also maybe a few other cool little details:roll:

It is probably cheaper to buy a chassis. There are a Couple vendors that have some really inexpensive chasises that will work with the clod.

The XRC
The SW2
The Doubble J Verticle Smile.

All are around $50 for just the chassis.

well i built one instead its a dimon plate alum. with carbon fiber braces through out the midle of the chassis and i ended up buiding a 4 link that makes the truck 2 inches longer than and LST so i didnt go as far as it thought of at first, :roll: but i can always build another crawler, ill post some pics in a hour or so"thumbsup"

I am interested to see a diamond plate chassis, I always thought that stuff was kinda thick and heavy

It will be less headache if you by a chassis not to mention lighter and lower cg.
