Not many people run caps on there motors but some do as it helps stall and it stops motor interference.

I think you will find that the lathe motors generally do not generate enough RPMs to create radio interference.

I don't use them on my crawlers and the motors for racing now have internal capacitors.

I've never ran caps on mine and never had any problems. The only motor I've ever had that had caps was a POS sivler can motor that came in the TLT I used to have. If you wanted to run caps, its not going to hurt anything, but it also will probably not make a big difference.

My truck started glitching a while ago and i put the 3 caps on and it stopped glitching and i also re-wired my truck and move my receiver away from the motor.

I was running a Gd600 with a 65t lathe motor

Regards

james

Thanks for all the help guys!! I was just wondering because I come from a stadium truck back ground and some of the modified motor I ran needed compaceters and some had preinstalled internal ones. I have almost got every thing to finish up my crawler. I just got some plexiglass or lexan today for about .50$ a piece to make my chassis. And Im making my links from aluminum rod that I am drilling and tapping.
