| sweet...just for kiks in welding class today i decided to see what building leafs would be like so i made one...it wasnt too hard but i made it with 3 leafs so it is unfortunatly way too hard for a crawler and it bends easier than it flexes...so i may just go coils. personally i like the look of coils too...i will be makin a ladder frame as soon as i have the axles to neasure from and i will be toppin it off with either an FJ Cruiser body or a '07 Silverado body |

wow. speak english. leafs look more scale but dont flex as much, whats more important, scaleness or performance? for great scale performance try the K2-3L chassis or the BB-51. ive got a K2 and i love the damn thing! | |

| I wouldn't make leaf springs unless you are using spring steel, any steel won't work for a spring, it has to be a specific alloy or it will just bend and stay there. |
