Ok, i'm new to the crawling/ car side of RC but used to run heli's. I have a few good lipo's laying around that I want to put to use (hopefully) when I get my scx10. The batteries are both 7.4v one of them is 900mAh (25c) the other is a 800mAh (10c). These are both heli batteries but was wanting to know if they would be capable of running a few leds or even a winch? Thanks in advance and happy crawling.

Short answer, yes. The 900mah batt provides 22.5 amps and the 800mah batt = 8 amps That should provide enough juice for what you need. Not ideal for powering the whole truck as the motor may pull more than 22 amps, but it seems you are aware of that. |

I think it would work ,but you have to make sure you don't drain the battery dry..for lights only.
