Default Motor bearings

How quick do the bearings in stock axial motors wear out. I have a lot of noise and I assume that is what is is from.

I've got a stock 27t with loads of miles on it. I walk 1 to 3 miles a day and I got it as an early Christmas presents at Thanksgiving last year. I've had no issues. However I did do a water brake in on it.

What good would a "water brake in on it" do to the bearings?

It's hard to say how long the bearings will last. You should oil them. I would recommend a good oil.

I don't know if it helps or not but, I'm surprised the silver can has last this long so I figured I would share what I did to mine. I didn't do a water brake in on my sons and now he's got a hh 13t motor.

I have the same problem on my yeti. My motor come loose on the plastic motor mount and ever since then I have a lot of gear noise. I put some green slime on the spur gear and it quieted down some but now it's back. I changed bearings in transmission and it didn't help. Thinking about going back to plastic spur or checking motor bearings.

This sounds like a mesh issue.

If motor came loose then you most likely damaged the spur gear and/or the pinion, might not be enough damage to cause a problem, just a little more noise.
