To be blunt, in stock form it is a joke on the rocks.

Sorry man, hang in there.

Hopefully those 3 months will go by quickly.

If you have to keep it stock (or put no money towards it) for three months, you may want to reconsider your decision. A TLT can be modified with stock components and be very fun. A Clod...................well, with stock components, A Clod sucks!!:-P

NO, that's got to have a couple modified motors in there or maybe even dual brushless.
Stock speed will be a little faster than walking pace...

Well thank you.. and how will perform with locked f/r (ofcourse) ? i know i will not get a very good flex until i put a new chassis and 4 link.

But it will still crawl some little rocks ?

PS: No one have pics of a stock one flexing i can't find any ?

Lock the diffs (link to the how to in the Clod FAQ) and it will do fine for you for a few months. Locked diffs is the single biggest factor in crawling ability.
If you can, get some Pede wheels and Proline 2.2 Masher 2000 tires or Imex 2.2 Red Rock tires. The 2.2 tires and wheels will help it crawl with the stock 13 tooth pinions. There is a FAQ on 2.2 Clods in the Clod section as well.

If you plan to build a super size crawler eventually, skip the 2.2 tires and just drive it around until you get the money for mods.

I once built a set of 4 links and used them on the stock Clod chassis and got great performance with it.I braced the chassis to stiffen it up a little too.

Thank you very much for all that info. I will want to build a tuber with a wheel base no longer than 12.5.

Can anyone help me choose on this page www.hobbypeople.net a set of pinions to make it crawl with the stock tires

I will go to the store in a while but want to buy the right things i would need and not what the sales man want!

Thank you
