Default need motor suggestions

Hey all,

I just got my NN chassis in the mail today!

I am really pumped to start building it but still need to get a couple of things, like servos, motors, shocks, the important stuff.

First off I need a couple of motors. 55t lathes seem to be popular with the full-on crawlers, but I am looking for more of a basher-crawler. So, how fast will the 55t lathes make a clod go? I was thinking maybe a 35t or 45t for a compromise between the two.

For servos, would these be any good?

metal gears and lots of torque, so they should be ok.

anyway, thanx in advance

i would say go with the 55t's and gear up for more speed. that way you still have the option to go slow with lots of power.

those servos seem to have enough power for what you want to do.

are you going to be running 4wheels steering? if so you'll want a esc with a strong bec (3-5 amp) or a voltage regulator/RX pack.

i'd say go with the 45t then you can go fast (not really fast) with power and yea that servo will do some good.
