Default first crawler

Hi,i am new here,i read your forum a few days now and its time to ask you.
I am looking for a cheap MOA "wanna be crawler" but i prefer to buy it from Europe, because i am living in Greece, and i wan to buy something that is possible to find spare parts for any damage i will make to it.
I found a few and i need your opinion, while i have no experience in this

if you're looking for the cheapest MOAs, those two are about it. The Redcat handles well for what it is. Personally I think you should build an Axial SCX10 or Wraith! It will bring you so much more overall enjoyment, and be worth more at resale if you choose to move on to somehting else.

I have had experience with the rs10 and it was fun, I don't know much about the first one you posted but avoid the last one, it looks like a rs10 clone but it has an fm radio which is not as good as the 2.4 radio that the rs10 comes with, my vote is for the rs10 out of these three. Are you set on moa? There are plenty of other cheap shafty crawlers too.

With MOA i will not have any problems with torque twist (i guess)
I dont wanna spend much money on r/c because i dont have much time to enjoy it.Actualy i will enjoy much more smaller r/c like 1/18 but on these scale i didnt find any "good" one

i wouldnt let torque twist scare you away from a shafty, its not a huge deal, redcat the makers of the rs10 make a truck called the everest 10, its an axial ax10 clone, which is a kissing cousin of the scx10, the best thing about the everest is that it can be converted to an scx10 pretty easily, now if you think sometime in the future you might want a more scale looking truck thats the way to go, plus its cheaper than the rs10. but if your sure you want a cheap moa the rs10 is it.

No the rs10 is it's own model, the aftermarket is very slim for it.

If I could just add a quick 2 cents (which is about all it's worth ) here is a link to jj650's ECX 1/18 Temper. They are about $130.00. ECX isn't too bad, a lot of local shops stock their parts and it is upgradable as his thread will show. He made it a serious scale machine. Yes it took bucks to do it but really, it seems that if all you want is a fun and capable crawler on the cheap this guy will suit. Yes it suffers from the dreaded torque twist but that is so common on crawlers that the fixes for it are many and a lot are super cheap (some free). Just search torque twist and tons of threads will pop up.

Heres jj650's thread. If anything it is a really good read with lots of awesome pics.
ECX Temper scale test and tune

Again just my 2 cents and i'm a newb as well so its not even worth that much. But I have been reading quite a bit and get where you're coming from.

Hope that helps some.

Regards,
Jimmy
