Just pre ordered. I've never pre ordered on Tower before and I usually wait for reviews before buying, but I've been waiting for this for years.

The ESC and motor are a poor choice. They will need an upgrade. This thing should be brushless. I'll wait for the kit.

27T on 3S is plenty of oomph for an RTR. Something's got to give in the RTR market to keep pricing reasonable. At Axialfest this year they had a stock Bomber class and IMO, that was the most fun to watch. Imagine a stock class for these things? So much fun.

Yes, but if you want a little more a Traxxas Titan 550 can 21 turn is a great motor on 3S.

I see they strengthened the c-hubs, looks like better plastic with more fibers in it too.

IIRC Axial has a V8 engine coming out soon....would make a great scale addition to this if the scale is same!

I think most of us would have paid the extra $50 (like the Yeti SCORE) for the addition of a brushless system.

I think my parts bin is stocked enough to build one with just a chassis and some small bits. This thing looks like a blast to drive.

Most experienced hobbyists will pay it, and appreciate it. This is aimed at a broader customer base. A slower and more cost effective power system was the obvious choice to bring new people into the hobby
