Default gear help

Hi i have a cool little scaler i need some help with HG P401/P402/P601 RC Car 13T Small Bevel Gear H01003 the material used for these gears are complete crap so i am looking to compare measurements to axial an other brands to see what i can steal from to reinforce my set up its a slotted bevel gear an from pics i cannot tell if the axial stuff is or not looked on ebay amazon an other sites only place that has the replacement part is chinese drop shippers an its the same as stock junk really fun truck would love to not have gears grinding in reverse an going forward its weird how it skips one way but locks the other way any help is cool suggestions as well thanks in the mean time

Is this one of the trans gears or axle? Imo you would be better off just getting some spares. Hell last time i looked a complete axle was like $12 and complete trans was around $15. Check out banggood, they have all the spare parts and was the only site i could find all of the upgrade parts as well.
