Default Axial yeti turned into a score?

Can I turn my axial yeti into a score? Will it require a lot of mods?

You can get an idea of how much work and which parts you'd need by downloading the instruction manual for the SCORE truck from the Axial website and compare the parts blow-up and list on the last few pages to your Yeti manual. Some of the parts are somewhat pricey...

I went the other way. The parts you will need are:

-Body -- You can get an unpainted body and run it without the cage and fancy bits. Itll probably handle better without it.
-Body mounts - You can probably get away with strait mounts in the rear but depending on what comes with the normal Yeti youll want a wide tower mount up front.
-Wheels -- The wheels need the Yeti adapters. Stock Yeti Score runs Axial 2.2/3.0 wheels.
-Tires -- Standard SCT 2.2/3.0 tires.
-Bumper -- The Score bumper is mostly a joke anyways. You just need something that connects from top to bottom there.

Going to normal Yeti I did this:

-JConcepts 2.2" Yeti wheels
-Pro-Line BFG KR2 tires
-Pro-Line Raptor Yeti body
-Couple SCX10 body posts warmed up with a butane iron and bent a little for the rear. Strait posts in the front.
-Yeti bumper

The body is pretty expensive as will be tires since you can choose any 2.2/3.0 SCT tire you want. You will need axial wheels unless someone else has come out with some SCT wheels for it. Its pretty easy, just expensive. I have easily $150 into mine with just wheels, tires, body, paint, bumper and supplies to make all my aluminum links. Every link but the trailing arms are now allthread sleeved with aluminum on mine. To me metal links with metal rod end balls is a must. It was super floppy in every way before the links and rod end balls.

Yeah I think I'm gonna keep it a yeti for now. Your yeti with the blue body looks sweet. Awesome
