Default Axial 20t, Ae-5: which 3s lipo?

I have a stock axial wraith spawn with exception of a 14t pinion. I want to go 3s, and not sure what to get. The axial motor doesn't list any specs.

Thanks! I know the MAH rating is basically the capacity similar to NIMH, how does the C rating play into compatibility?

from what i understand that is a discharge rate, don't want a low c rating.it will over work the battery.

C rating has no effect on compatability.... crawlers can use lower C ratings if they are using normal brushed motors and lower rated brushless... high output brushless, you would need to pay more attention to the C rating if I recall correctly... probably 99% of crawlers and trail trucks would be fine with 25C or above...like I said, I keep mine in the 30-60 range... i like to think of it as watering with a 5/8 inch garden hose as compared to a 4 inch fire hose....

as long as your ESC/motor doesnt try to pull more amps out of your battery at a rate that it can deliver you will have no issues, when it tries to pull the amps at a rate your battery cant sustain, then you risk destroying the battery at the least and the entire rig at the worst (lipo battery fire)

Capacity multiplied by the c Rating divided by 1000, say max amp the lipo can develope.
For example 3000 mAh 25c = max 75 Amp. If your Motor esc Combo needs more than this, the lipo could not deliver the requiered Amp. Hope that helps.
