The first one can't be mounted to a gear box and the esc is forward only, the second one the esc is forward only so no. Go to the vender section and search revolver, see what you find.

Allot,if not all aircraft ESC's have no reverse,so to answer your question.....They might work but with no reverse they'd suck BAD.

In all honesty, your better off getting with Holmes Hobbies. Brushless is more sensitive than brushed,as in,you really need to dial it in to your set up. Brushed set ups are a little more forgiving when it comes to gear ratios, cell count and size, but, they have less power and require maintenance.

John has done a tremendous amount of testing with brushless and is VERY knowledgeable about it. If he knows your set up,he can suggest the motor/ESC to run, gear ratio and type of/quantity of cells to run and it'll work like a champ.

The combo that john sells is under $200. I got mamba 25,motor,usb link(to program if needed),motorplate, shipped for $163. There is flat spot on the shaft also.

The Holmes hobbies stuff is probably the best you will find for significantly less than $200 and besides, he's good to deal with. I got one for my scale rig a while ago and it bolted and set right up with no real problems.
