Default Pitbull rockbeast tires

I recently picked up a set of 1.9 rockbeast tires for my scx10 and was wondering if anyone else used them and how they held up to water and if they are durable. I mounted them on a set of axial 8 hole beadlocks and I find them to be a lot better than the rc4wd rock crushers. And I apologize for putting this in the scx10 2 feed, I'm still trying to figure the app out.

Lots of people use them one of the most popular tires out right now. They are great tires.

They have been one of the top tires for many years. The new XL's have an ever stickier compound and more separated lug pattern. I run these and ProLine TSL's on all my rigs. They both flat work.

I have multiple sets and love them. If you have the original size RB 1.9s with the Komp Kompound, I highly recommend swapping out the stock foams for CI 2-stage foams. The stock foams in the new RB 1.9 XL with Alien PAP Kompound work very well as is.

Also, FYI, the Rock Crushers come in RC4WD's X3 compound, which works well as an all around trail and moderate crawling tire but isn't as grippy as their X2SS compound. If you're looking for more performance from an RC4WD tire, try one of the X2SS compound tires like the Baja Claws or Iroks. Stuffed with the right foams, those tires perform great, as well.
