Default Noob questions

Having a dig function will requires that the rear axel to be more complicated compare to not having a dig function?

By having rear wheel steering, a dig function would be pointless?

Is rear wheel steering a gimmic feature?

How come the R4WD Bully 2 does not have rear wheel steering as a feature? It's a competition build?

How come some competition allow and some competition disallow rear wheel steering?

For vehicles with motor on axle, are these types of vehicle really bad to just mess around in snow and water? Since the motor and servos are so low to the ground, water can easily gets in.

Are there any sort of dirt and water seal solution for the motor and servos for motor on axel type of vehicles?

On a 2 motors MOA vehicle, how critical/important is the ability to be able to transfer/turn off power to individual motor?

Thanks.

Holy crap, that's a long list of questions.

Having a dig function will requires that the rear axel to be more complicated compare to not having a dig function?

Depends on the vehicle type. Dig is a front axle function for a shafty type of vehicle where dig can be used on either axle on a MOA.

By having rear wheel steering, a dig function would be pointless?

Some Class 3 Comp Scale vehicles have both, but usually rear wheel steer with no dig is the preferred setup.

Is rear wheel steering a gimmic feature?

Absolutely not a gimmick in Class 3.

How come the R4WD Bully 2 does not have rear wheel steering as a feature? It's a competition build?

The Bully 2 is a recognized comp vehicle and rear steer is not allowed under the rules for that class (2.2 Mod/Pro).

How come some competition allow and some competition disallow rear wheel steering?

Crawler comps don't allow rear steer in Mod/Pro, but allow it in Super class. As already mentioned Class 3 Scale also allows rear steer.

For vehicles with motor on axle, are these types of vehicle really bad to just mess around in snow and water? Since the motor and servos are so low to the ground, water can easily gets in.

Again, most MOA vehicles are built strictly for competitions and most comps aren't run in the snow. Don't let te crew from Norway see this anser, though.

Are there any sort of dirt and water seal solution for the motor and servos for motor on axel type of vehicles?

You could do some basic water-proofing on MOA's, but the electronics are usually not protected as they are in Scale or even Shafty classes.

On a 2 motors MOA vehicle, how critical/important is the ability to be able to transfer/turn off power to individual motor?

Very important. This is how you provide the dig/burn functions.

Haha. Thanks for all the answers.

As for my questions, I rather just post one giant post with all of the questions in them, then posting many posts with single question. Save a lot of time this way. :-)
