Default Axial SMT10

I have recently obtained an Axial SMT10 and not the biggest fan. I don't want to get rid of it, I just don't know if I can really tear it apart and build some badass rig out of it. Is it possible to turn it into a trail rig or crawler? Thank you for your help.

You can make it a durable monster truck or you can turn it into a Bomber, Wraith or something similar. The SMT10 is weak out of the box. It's kind of embarrassing. But after about $300 of accessories I love mine. It uses the same axles that came on the Wraith, Deadbolt AX-10, and Bomber. The transmission can be used on a trail rig, but it's going to need metal gears. The axles will need lockers instead of the stock diffs that come in the SMT10. Really your imagination and budget are the only limit.

Can you post pictures of yours and tell me more details on what you put into it?

Those are badass. I am still trying to figure what the end result will be with my SMT10. Your gravedigger is a good idea.

Thank you! I love my Grave Digger! I saw it this morning while getting ready for work and I stopped just to look at it. It's just so cool and scale looking!

I am building a "Monster Bolt" which is a monster truck based on the Axial AX-10 Deadbolt. That has more upgrades and 4 wheel steering and I still prefer the SMT10.
