This one has served me well for all RC applications for well over a year now and sure didn't break the bank.

Weller WLC100 has been great for almost 20 years for me. Used a very lot of times left on for hours at end while building home stereo stuff and RC use. The sponge has seen better days but I'm still using it.

Based on price requested by OP and the specs listed, I'd go with this one out of the several mentioned. They will all get the job done, but this one looks more versatile for different wire gauges, adjustable temp, wattage and availability of different tips.

I upgraded to the TrakPower TK950 and I have no regrets. It makes soldering even easier and it's worth the $75.

This $20 station from HobbyKing is also a good option if you want a clone of the TrakPower, which is already a clone itself.

I absolutely love my TK950. If that HK clone is as good that's a homerun deal. Can't recommend the TK950 enough as a middle of the road setup. Not sure how I spent so many years soldering with garbage irons before getting a good one.

I got one of these for Xmas

I've used it quite a bit and it's worked flawlessly.

Good reading and confirms what I was thinking, Hakko is worth the money. If going with any clone, may as well be the HK, based on my HK experiences and price lol.
