Default Binding issues

I recently ruined my old tactic receiver receiver, but my radio was fine. My radio is a tactic ttx300 and I'm trying to bind it to an axial AR-3 and it won't have it. What do I need to do to bind them together

It could be worse

The AR-3 receiver was supplied with the Axial AX-3 transmitter. I don't believe the Tactic TTX300 will bind with the AR-3. Have no experience with the Tactic transmitter/receiver but assume it is similar to the older Axial TX/RX which were only supplied as a set. I did see a statement that the Tactic transmitter would bind with any "TSL" receiver. That's about all the help I have to offer.

The Axial AR3 is Castle compatible... and so works with Fly Sky and Axial systems.

But Tactic products are not compatible.

I believe Tactic is distributed by or is a subsidy of Hobbico.

Tactic 2.4GHz SLT Transmitters

http://www.tacticrc.com/receivers/

You can purchase a new Tactic RX from...

Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Tactic-TR325-.../dp/B00TKIGW4Q

RC Planet: https://www.rcplanet.com/Tactic_SLT_...FVNqfgodUrQHbw

ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tactic-TR325...4AAOSwt5hYZXec

and likely one of the vendors on this forum.

Looks like Amazon is the only place with stock at the moment. Good thing is these are available individually. The AR-3 was almost impossible to find for sale by itself, usually only available combined with the AX-3. Only good thing was FlySky receivers were compatible with the AX-3.

Good luck.

I initially looked on eBay for a tactic, and at the time I didn't know that tactic only goes with tactic, and me being the broke kid I am bought a cheap flysky for like 5 bucks or something instead of the 15 you would pay for the tactic

I personally think the Tactic RX is somewhat costly.

I can buy 2 FS GR3-f RX's for the cost of purchasing one TR325

So that makes it more affordable for me to run multiple cars using my single GT3-C TX.

No need to move a single RX from car to car.

I personally feel that Axial went down hill going with the Tactic system.
Probably has to do with lower cost... and netting 3s use without requiring an external BEC.

Tactic kinda seems like the Apple of radio systems. They are relatively simple, look really good and are comfortable to use and excessively expensive and they aren't compatible with most brands other than itself
